This advanced-level workshop is intended for mental health providers who have already completed a foundational training in Exposure and Response Prevention for OCD, and are now ready to level up their skills!
We will zero in on popular special topics in OCD treatment, from differential diagnosis with difficult comorbid problems like eating disorders, all the way through specific exposure methods for tricky OCD areas, including perfectionism, scrupulosity, sexual obsessions, and health anxiety.

Course Objectives
Describe at least two specific exposure ideas to address scrupulosity
Describe at least two specific exposure ideas to address sexual obsessions
Describe at least two specific exposure ideas to address perfectionism within OCD
Describe at least two specific exposure ideas to address health anxiety within OCD
Identify two primary goals of post-exposure processing
Demonstrate how to conduct imaginal exposure in session
Describe the difference between written imaginal exposure scripts versus coached verbal imaginal exposures
Identify at least two ways to overcome barriers to implementing ERP
Instructors: Drs. Steven Tsao, David Yusko, and Christina DiChiara are experts in the delivery and dissemination of empirically-based treatments for anxiety disorders. They each bring over 10 years of experience treating OCD using ERP to this workshop, focusing on providing an interactive, comprehensive, and up-to-date training experience that helps participants implement new techniques and interventions in their own practice. Their combined experience spans the full spectrum of OCD subtypes and severity levels, having worked at outpatient, intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, and residential levels of care for OCD. The Center for Anxiety and Behavior Therapy is approved by the Pennsylvania State Board Psychology and the Pennsylvania State Board of Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists, and Professional Counselors to offer continuing education for social workers, marriage and family therapists, and professional counselors. Workshop Instructors
Drs. Tsao and DiChiara have extensive experience in treating OCD with a wide range of presentations, severity levels, and treatment settings. They draw on their own clinical work, as well as their long history of supervising and consulting with OCD therapists across the world, to infuse this workshop with a high level of expert knowledge and down-to-earth, practical suggestions for delivering high-quality ERP in diverse settings.

Co-Founder of CABT and clinical psychologist trained at Fordham University who specializes in emetophobia, OCD, post-traumatic stress, anxiety, and physician mental health.
Christina DiChiara, PsyD
Director of Education at CABT and clinical health psychologist trained at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine who specializes in OCD, post-traumatic stress, anxiety, and teen mental health.

Online registration will close when the workshop reaches maximum capacity, so early registration is strongly encouraged. If the workshop is not completely filled, online registration will close 24 hours prior to the start of the workshop. Registration after this deadline may be possible, but must be directly coordinated with our staff. If you are interested in registering after the online deadline has closed, please inquire at workshops@centerabt.com.

This workshop is virtual via zoom.

The cancellation deadline is two weeks prior to the workshop start date. Attendees who cancel before this deadline will receive a full refund, minus a processing fee determined by Stripe. Cancellations made after the deadline will be refunded 50% of the registration cost, less the Stripe processing fee. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within two days of the workshop. However, full credit toward a future CABT workshop is available at any time. To request a cancellation, please email workshops@centerabt.com.

Our workshops are designed to provide comprehensive training on specialized treatments and disorders, so participants are expected to attend for the full duration, in a private space, with their camera on. CEU hours will only be awarded to those who complete the entire workshop.

Post-Training Consultation Groups are affiliated with the workshop cohort. Consultation group participation is not transferable to other groups hosted at later dates or affiliated with other training cohorts.
Registration for post-training consultation groups will open immediately following the completion of the training.
All training participants will have the opportunity to register for up to 4 post-training consultation groups.
Once registration for post-training consultation groups is closed, participation in these groups cannot to be rescheduled.
